Dealer Services Representative

We are in need of a Dealer Service Representative that can provide management and processing of orders for the dealers and warehouse and fulfilment centers. This DSR position is a Direct hire role based in Dallas, TX. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process orders and shipments
  • Communicate with dealers in a professional manner concerning orders, returns, shipments, products and feedback
  • Make outbound calls to dealers when necessary to advise shipment delays and/or information necessary to process orders
  • Manually enter orders into ERP if/when required
  • Work closely with Logistics and Sales team members to ensure all orders and related data are accurate
  • Work with Sales team to collect missing required data on received orders
  • Process returns for dealers as required
  • Initiate tracers with trucking carriers and parcel carriers as required
  • Make changes to or cancel pending orders/backorders
  • Initiate orders for replacements parts and/or for correcting errors (shortages, wrong item shipped, etc.)
  • Maintain dealer customer files in computer system ensuring accurate information and documentation
  • Work in conjunction with distribution centers to ensure accurate processing of dealer orders and shipments
  • Ensure all daily tasks with distribution center occur as per schedule
  • Work in conjunction with distribution centers to resolve any issues related to pending or released shipments
  • Generate weekly/bi-weekly Stock Status Reports for specific distribution center


  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy are critical
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with parcel shipments and LTL/FTL shipments is preferred
  • Be able to work closely and effectively in a plug-and-play team environment
  • Ability to learn new tasks and responsibilities quickly
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in Logistics/Distribution market circumstances
  • Demonstrate flexibility in work hours to accommodate seasonal highs and lows
  • Intermediate computer skills (that can develop/improve over time) with an emphasis placed on data hygiene and accuracy
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel to source/present data
  • Experience with general logistics/distribution is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of imports, exports and domestic freights movement is a plus
  • Relevant customer/dealer service experience is a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
