Human Resources Manager

We have an amazing opportunity with a our client who is quite literally changing the way companies operate their business! They are seeking a new Human Resources Manager who oversees daily operations of the Company’s HR functions domestically and internationally. The Human Resources Manager will maintain and develop effective internal procedures, support recruiting and retention efforts and assist in implementing the human resources strategy for all employees.  Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Work with the management team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning
  • Provide support and guidance to HR Support, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
  • Design, plan and implement international human resources programs and policies, including staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, global mobility, and training
  • Implement international assignment agreements, hire and handling expatriate matters
  • Onboard new hires requiring US visas and to maintaining their lawful presence and work authorization in the United States and abroad as required
  • Ensure internal and regulatory compliance in relation to immigration and oversee the end to end processes of immigration matters, and provide expertise on complex immigration issues
  • Assess company efforts on diversity and cross-cultural inclusion programs, establish best practices and identify programs to remove barriers that affect staff retention
  • Assist with oversight of the employee stock equity program
  • Oversee talent acquisition process and collaborates with department managers to understand needs, skills, and competencies required for openings
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of HR functions to ISN employees
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with HR external partners
  • Consult with legal counsel as appropriate, and/or as directed by the CEO on personnel matters
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and support the organization’s mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior

Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or equivalent work experience
  • Human Resources professional certification preferred

Knowledge and Skills

  • 6+ years’ experience in progressively responsible leadership roles
  • 5+ years’ experience in human resources management
  • Previous immigration and global mobility experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing large and complex projects
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems impacting people, process and program issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
  • Experience supervising or managing a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Physical and Safety Requirements:

  • Sitting, bending, standing, walking, typing and/or speaking at least 8 hours per day
  • Able to regularly lift and move up to 15lbs
