Human Capital Managment Business Partner

Our client is seeking to add an HR presence to their Dallas office. The Human Capital Management (HCM) Team is responsible for supporting 500+ employees located across multiple states in addition to the UK and Hong Kong. This role will be a trusted advisor and effective business partner to executive leadership providing sound advice and demonstrating leadership, while also maintaining an active focus on daily execution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leverage and effective HCM guidance to executive leadership and employees across talent management, employee relations, performance, and career development processes.
  • Coordinate talent management processes and initiatives, including the mid-year and annual 360 review processes, formal talent discussions with leadership.
  • Drive global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies and programs in partnership and key stakeholders; support local Employee Affinity Group programming and other events.
  • Support and execute training and development initiatives in partnership with leadership and key stakeholders with a particular focus on high performing talent and developing managers.
  • Help manage the onboarding process for new hires, including background checks and New Hire Orientation
  • Escalate employee relations issues to senior HCM leaders.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and/or special projects to support other HCM initiatives and functions.

Required Experience

  • Approximately 6+ years of experience; in-depth knowledge and proven track record as an HR Business Partner/Generalist
  • Financial services experience, ideally in alternative asset management
  • Ability to consult with and build credible relationships with leadership and employees of the firm.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative orientation, including proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a high-volume environment; high level of professional maturity to handle sensitive issues and employee data with discretion.
  • Self-starter who requires little direction, able to work autonomously while contributing as a strong team player.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
