Three Point Search, a local boutique recruiting firm specializing in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources & Administrative placement, has partnered with one of our top clients who is seeking to add a Senior Payroll Manager to their team. This is a direct hire role with a fast moving and ever evolving company. Our client provides an upbeat culture and organic growth within the organization.

Overview:

The Senior Payroll Manager will report to directly to the HR Director. In this role you will work on items such as planning, implementing, administering, and budgeting on the following HR functions: employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, organizational development, affirmative action, training, and general human resources administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for more than1,000 employees from multiple locations and the HQ office.
  • Ensure minimum wage compliance, PTO earnings, tax withholdings, garnishments, 401(k) contributions, and employee health insurance
  • Transmit and provide employee data to the 401(k) administrator and conduct audits
  • Assist in implementing a new payroll system and set up pay cards
  • Prepare periodic reports to government agencies
  • Assist with the annual year end W-2 and Form 1095 process
  • Provide data for the annual escheatment process of unclaimed property for outstanding payroll checks
  • Work collaboratively, independently, and apply values to independent decision making

Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of proved multi-unit payroll processing and related experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Previous experience with Enterprise HRIS/Payroll solutions
  • Proficient in Spanish
  • Must be organized, strategic, and analytical
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication both written and verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
